A really wonderful hotel, with truly exceptional hospitality - every last details has been thought through. It will be hard to go anywhere else after this. The room, the views, the guided walks, the food, the wine list - all wonderful.
The only thing we missed was the lack of a tub in our bathroom - after long hard mountain walks it would have been very welcome. But the spa was delightful.

the location was marvellous, a short walk to borest. booked a room with amazing views across the village and valley. the staff was genuinely friendly, they showed us what first-class service is supposed to be like.

The hotel's location is charming, close to the surrounding Dolomiti, the slopes on the other side of Corvara, and the village center. The breakfast was delicious and marvelous, with eggs made to order by the lovely Pasquale and pancakes as desired.

The location for skiing was perfect...literally steps from slopes and lift. The cuisine was excellent. The spa/wellness area offered many opportunities for relaxing after skiing.
For a "leading hotel of the world" the hotel lacked the equivalent of a concierge . The front desk was staffed by young people from other parts of the country who were happy to make arrangements for guests, but lacked knowledge of the neighborhood: e.g. their answer to requests for driving directions, was to print out computer directions which did not indicate that an avalanche had blocked the suggested route.
